In an architectural project in Denmark, our IDEA expanded metal mounted in a rigid frame was used as both a design and functional lift enclosure. The aluminium expanded metal with a mesh size of 200 × 70 × 20 × 2 mm was set into a frame made from 40 × 40 × 3 mm L-profiles, creating an element combining high structural strength with low weight and an elegant appearance. The final powder coating in RAL 6005 gives the structure a distinctive yet timeless colour.
This project demonstrates that our products are not only materials, but also tailored solutions capable of adapting the technical requirements of architects and designers to specific functional and visual needs.
