For the modern multi-storey car park in Třinec we supplied expanded metal in two mesh types – hexagonal and diamond. The formats used measured 47 × 18 × 8 × 2 mm for the hexagonal mesh and 90 × 32 × 13 × 2 mm for the diamond mesh. The material was lightweight and durable aluminium, finished with paint in RAL 1018, a bright yellow colour that gives the building a distinctive visual element. The project is located in Třinec.
Expanded metal is an ideal solution for multi-storey car parks as it provides excellent ventilation, allows natural daylight into the structure, is durable, long-term maintenance-free, and offers an elegant technical appearance. Thanks to these properties, it is increasingly chosen for modern architectural projects of this type.
